Profiles of Game Art Programs & Schools

Florida has a lot to offer game artists. For starters the state hosts a wide variety of gaming conventions such as Supercon (one of the largest video game conventions in the U.S.), Otronicon, Recon, and Megacon, Next, the state is home to hundreds of gaming venues, as well as a variety of annual tournaments, gaming organizations, and retailers. Finally, like the other schools across the U.S., which is now the number one video game market in the world, Florida’s academic institutions have joined the cause and ether developed game art programs or expanded existing ones to help met the demand for top talent.

Tuition Information:  Undergraduate $41,500, graduate $24,000 for the 2011 – 2012 school year (graduate) and 2012 – 2013 school year (undergraduate).  Tuition does not include undergraduate fees of $2,300 per year or graduate fees of $520 per year.
