Scope of Program:
Students in Bennington College's Visual Arts program focus on design for artists, ideas and art, physical computing, digital animation, history of animation, puppets and animation, Adobe Creative Suite, 3D modeling, animating the 2D world, digital narratives and web as artistic platform.
Bennington College students work with faculty advisors via The Plan Process to create their learning programs. Students must participate in a seven-week Field Work Term each year. Letter grades are optional at Bennington College, but students are strongly encouraged to request letter grades in addition to faculty evaluations. Merit and need-based scholarships are available.
