Scope of Program:

Graphic Communication students at Carroll University may choose the Graphic Design or Web Design Emphasis. Students in both emphases begin their studies with coursework in communication technology, Photoshop and Illustrator, color and typography, digital photography, history of graphic design and 3D digital design. Graphic Design students focus on digital video, digital Flash gaming, multimedia production, accounting, 2D and 3D design, drawing, business, marketing, statistics and projects for graphic communication majors. All students complete an internship.

Web Design students concentrate on 2D and 3D design, drawing, digital video, digital Flash gaming, information systems, communication technology and society, problem solving through programming, technical productivity, database design, statistics and World Wide Web projects. All students complete an internship.

Carroll University is affiliated with the Presbyterian Church. Art, merit and need-based scholarships are available. Residents of Wisconsin may apply for state-sponsored scholarships and grants.
