Scope of Program:
Visual Technologies students at Dixie State College of Utah focus on communication design, computer illustration programming, object oriented programming, operating systems, networking, electronic commerce, calculus, typography, creative imaging, interactive multimedia, internet publishing and design, dynamic web development, 3D visualization, 3D animation, graphic design, history, digital video editing, drawing and photography. All students create a portfolio and senior project.
Art, merit and need-based scholarships are available. A portfolio is required for consideration for art scholarships. Utah residents are encouraged to apply for state-sponsored scholarships and grants.
