Scope of Program:

Graphic Design students at Lamar University complete core courses in 2D and 3D design, drawing, and art history.  They continue with coursework in typography, layout, photography, computers in art, visual design, illustration, printmaking, advanced studies in graphic design and special projects in graphic design.  All students create a senior thesis exhibition.

Art, merit and need-based scholarships are available.  Texas residents may apply for state-sponsored scholarships and grants.  Texas offers a wide variety of nonresident tuition waivers.
