Scope of Program:

All Art students at Lynchburg College complete foundation courses in art history, design, drawing, photography and contemporary art.  Students who select the Graphic Design Emphasis take courses in graphics process and technique, graphics methods and practice, graphics innovation and analysis, type and visual communication and web design.  All students complete a graphic design studio, complete an internship or practicum and create a portfolio.

Lynchburg College is affiliated with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).  All B. A. candidates must take one religious studies course and one intermediate foreign language course.  Art, merit and need-based scholarships are available.  Virginia residents are encouraged to apply for state-sponsored scholarships and grants.
