Students in Neumont University's Software and Game Development program complete coursework in software engineering, computer science, object oriented programming and design, C++, algorithms and data structures, game physics, topics in game development, artificial intelligence, computer graphics, rich animation, mobile game development, linear algebra, scalable web applications, game libraries, game programming and management, game console development, Java, dynamic web programming and digital art and music. All students create a portfolio, studio projects and a capstone project.

Neumont University is a for-profit university. Students who attend school year-round (four academic quarters) can complete their program in three years. Scholarships are available for Utah residents and nonresidents.
