Tuition Information: Undergraduate residents $5,702, nonresidents $16,826 for the 2012 – 2013 school year. Tuition does not include resident fees of $2,888 or nonresident fees of $3,334 per year.

Scope of Program:

Students in Radford University's Graphic Design program complete foundation courses in drawing, 2D and 3D design, figure drawing, studio arts and art history. All students must pass annual portfolio reviews to continue in the major. Graphic Design students focus on graphic design production techniques, digital photography, typography and layout, history of graphic design, graphic design for the web, 3D computer art, illustration, publication design, packaging and 3D design and portfolio preparation and studio management. All students complete a graphic design seminar and create a portfolio and B. F. A. exhibition.

Merit and need-based scholarships are available. Virginia residents are encouraged to apply for state-sponsored grants and scholarships.
