Tuition Information: Undergraduate residents $4,960, nonresidents $16,368 for the 2012 – 2013 school year. Tuition does not include fees of $616 per year.

Scope of Program:
Graphic Design students at Southern Utah University must pass a foundation review after completing 24 credit hours in art and art history in order to be admitted to the major. Students complete coursework in photography, 2D and 3D design, drawing, digital imaging, art insights, 20th century art, typography, web development, web design, graphic design history, multimedia and motion graphics, computer animation studio arts and 3D graphic design. All students complete an internship and create a capstone project and portfolio.
Art, talent, leadership, merit and need-based scholarships are available. A portfolio is required with the art scholarship application. Utah residents are encouraged to apply for state-sponsored grants and scholarships.
