Scope of Program:

Springfield College Computer Graphics/Digital Arts majors begin their studies by completing art foundations and computer graphics courses, including drawing, design, painting, figure drawing, art history, computer animation, desktop design, 3D animation and computer animation.  Community service and field experience are an integral part of this degree program.  Students must apply for advanced standing prior to beginning their field experience; a portfolio review is part of this process.  After acceptance to advanced standing, students concentrate on programming, character development for animation and games, 3D studio, digital sculpting and surfacing.

Co-ops, need-based scholarships and grants are available.  A limited number of merit scholarships are also available.  Massachusetts residents are encouraged to apply for MASSGrant and other state financial aid programs.
