Tuition Information: Undergraduate residents $5,208, nonresidents $17,696 for the 2011 – 2012 school year. Tuition does not include fees of $880 per year.

Scope of Program:

Graphic Design students at Tennessee State University complete a freshman seminar and foundation courses in drawing, 2D design and 3D design before commencing coursework in the major. Graphic Design students focus on lettering, layout, word and image, desktop publishing and advanced graphic design. All students complete a portfolio seminar and create a senior project.

Tennessee State University is a Historically Black University. Merit and need-based scholarships are available, as are United Methodist Church and Methodist Church scholarships. Tennessee residents are encouraged to apply for state grants and scholarships.
