Scope of Program:

Graphic Design students at Texas Christian University complete foundation courses in drawing, 2D and 3D design, photography, art history and visual communication history.  They continue with courses in professional development and recognition in graphic design, typography, illustration, graphic design computer applications, advertising design, publication design, package design, photo illustration and corporate identity.  All students complete a summer internship and create a thesis and portfolio.

Texas Christian University is affiliated with Christian Church (Disciples of Christ); all students must take a religious traditions course.  Art, merit and need-based scholarships are available, as are Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) scholarships.  A portfolio is required for consideration for art scholarships.
