Top Animation Programs in Kansas - Animation Career Review

Kansas is home to several top colleges that offer programs for aspiring animators. Most are traditional colleges with dozens of other program offerings. According many student groups, alums, small news organizations, education blogs, and others, this is what separates a top school from all others. Other factors that help separate the great from the not-so-great include affordability, convenience, types of clubs and organizations, recreation, student population, job placement services, and other similar factors.

A number of major organizations such as Princeton Review, U.S. News & World Report, and Forbes publish the country’s “best schools” list. With the exception of number of program offerings, these organizations consider a different set of factors to determine which schools belong on the “best schools” list. These factors may include graduation and retention rates, peer assessment, faculty resources (student-teacher ratio), financial resources, and student selectivity. Although the considerations are different for “top school” lists and “best schools” lists, many top schools also make the “best” lists.
