Vermont has one of the smallest collections of accredited colleges in the U.S., but many of these schools are considered top-tier. The University of Vermont, Champlain College, Middlebury College, Saint Michaels College, and Norwich University are just a few. These schools are at the top of the list based on factors such as variety and quality of  programs, convenience, class size, number and quality of clubs/organizations, quality of production facilities, competitiveness, and more. Fortunately, many of the state’s top-tier colleges also offer some of the nation’s top art and design programs.

While the state’s top-tier schools are also some of the state’s most expensive schools, they have Title IV status. This means, they are eligible for federal financial aid programs. This makes them more accessible to students with varying levels of financial need. Continue reading to find out which Vermont animation schools are tops and what they have to offer. Please note that the schools listed below are in order from largest to smallest student population.
