Scope of Program:

University of Colorado Denver's Fine Arts program offers emphases in Digital Design and 3D Graphics and Animation.  Digital Design students complete coursework in drawing, digital design, 2D and 3D design, art history, typography, motion design and design studio.  3D Graphics and Animation students focus on drawing, 2D and 3D media, art history, intermedia, digital 3D, surface modeling and properties, rigging and animation, lighting and animation production.  Students in both emphases must complete a thesis.

University of Colorado Denver offers several types of scholarships; awards typically range from $500 to $2,000.  Many scholarships are available only to Colorado residents.  Students residing in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington or Wyoming may apply for reduced tuition (150% of in-state tuition) through the Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education's Western Undergraduate Exchange program.  Colorado residents seeking an undergraduate degree should apply for the College Opportunity Fund stipend, currently $62 per credit hour.
