Scope of Program:

The University of Louisiana at Monroe's Graphic Design program begins with the Art Department core, which includes coursework in art history, drawing, design, 3D design, figure drawing and studio arts.  Students must pass a portfolio review upon completion of core courses.  Students then concentrate on graphic design, typography, advanced graphic design, illustration, packaging and advertising design.  Students create a final portfolio and must pass a senior portfolio review in order to graduate.

Art Department scholarships and out-of-state fee waivers are available in addition to need-based and merit scholarships.
