Scope of Program:

Design Arts students at the University of Wisconsin – Green Bay complete foundation coursework in drawing, design methods, 2D design, photography, design arts, expository writing and art history.  They continue with coursework in information, media and society, modern American culture, concepts and issues of modern art, graphic communication, web design, multimedia design, graphic design problem solving and design research, theory and technology.  All students create a portfolio and complete either an internship or a publication practicum.

Out-of-state students whose parent or grandparent graduated from UW-Green Bay may be eligible for a "Return to Wisconsin" tuition discount.  Minnesota residents may apply for tuition reciprocity.   Residents of Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska and North Dakota may be eligible for Midwestern Student Exchange Program tuition discounts.  Residents of Wisconsin may apply for state-sponsored scholarships and grants.
