Tuition Information: Undergraduate residents $6,440, nonresidents $14,020 for the 2012 – 2013 school year. Tuition does not include fees of $1,071 per year.

Scope of Program:

Graphic Design students at the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point complete foundation courses in design, digital media, drawing and art history. They must pass a portfolio in order to continue in the major. Students focus on illustration, web design, graphic design processes, branding and systems, package design, printmaking, 3D computer animation, typography, photography, symbols for graphic design and advanced visual design for the screen. All students complete an internship and create a portfolio.

Per-class lab fees may apply. Mandatory fees include a textbook rental fee. Art, merit and need-based scholarships are available. Minnesota residents may apply for tuition reciprocity. Residents of Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska and North Dakota may be eligible for Midwestern Student Exchange Program tuition discounts. Residents of Wisconsin may apply for state-sponsored scholarships and grants.
