According to the Institute of Education Sciences National Center for Education Statistics (IES NCES), New Hampshire is home to 29 Title IV degree-granting institutions. A Title IV school is eligible for Title IV financial aid programs based on five strict requirements. Title IV schools (1) have been in business for at least 2 years, (2) grant an associate's degree or higher, (3) offer a program of at least 300 clock hours in length, (4) have accreditation recognized by the U.S. Department of Education, and (5) have signed a participation agreement with the Department. A Title IV school is the best option for students and parents with financial need. Fortunately, most of the nation’s best schools are Title IV.
