Columbus calls itself the “Independent Art Capital of the World.” Take a quick stroll through the city and you’ll find out why. Columbus is home to dozens of independent art galleries filled with work by both emerging and established artists. Although small galleries outnumber the large, the city’s large are museums are successful enough to compete with the museums in larger cities. Visit the Columbus Museum of Art and you’ll agree.
