Maryland graphic design schools: most expensive to least expensive

The results are in. The Institute of Education Sciences (IES) has released its most recent report about the nation’s post-secondary schools. As of March 2012, Maryland was home to 84 Title IV degree-granting institutions. This is great news for students because these schools are eligible for Title IV financial aid programs, which makes them more accessible to students with financial need.

Maryland Animation Schools

Maryland is home to more than 60 Title IV degree-granting institutions. To become a Title IV school, an institution must meet five specific requirements. They must have accreditation recognized by the U.S. Department of Education, they must be in business for at least 2 years, and they must sign a participation agreement with the Department. In addition, Title IV schools must grant an associate's degree or higher and they must offer a program of at least 300 clock hours in length. The state’s Title IV schools are eligible federal financial-aid programs, which makes them more accessible to students with financial need.

The Maryland Film Office manages a department called DEEM (Digital Entertainment & Emerging Media) that helps attract and encourages the growth of companies that specialize in animation, web design, audio and interactive technology, and e-commerce. Maryland is also a haven for gamers and game artists. The state is a major hub for the video game and interactive technology industries.
