Unlike other art programs, studio art programs allow students to spend the majority of their time creating art in a studio environment, rather than spending a significant amount of time studying other subjects in a classroom. This helps students master multiple art forms in a reasonable amount of time that can be used in a wide variety of industries from advertising to film to the legal and medical fields. The reason studio artists have such a diverse list of careers to choose from is, studio art encompasses everything from ceramics to photography to digital art and design. Not only this, but just about every industry utilizes these art forms at one time or another, whether it’s to promote their services, create corporate training materials, or help win a court case with the assistance of simulations or illustrations.
