Scope of Program:
The Kubert School, formerly the Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art, offers a three-year accredited vocational program that prepares students for careers in cartooning and illustration. During this intensive program, students concentrate on human figure drawing, layout, design, narrative art, lettering, animation, color illustration, story adaptation, humor and caricature, sequential storytelling and the business of cartoon art.
An interview and portfolio are required for admission. Art scholarships are available. All students must purchase an Apple MacBook laptop computer.
