Tuition Information: Undergraduate $6,568 for the 2011 – 2012 school year. Tuition does not include annual fees of $807. Students from North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin are eligible for in-state rates; Wisconsin students must apply for reciprocity.

Scope of Program:
All Art students, whether B. A. or B. F. A. candidates, must complete foundation courses in drawing, foundations of design and art history. B. F. A. applicants must complete an application form and make a presentation to their entire application committee in order to be admitted to the Art major. Upon acceptance, Graphic Design students focus on studio courses, weekly critiques, seminar courses and creation of a B. A. or B. F. A. exhibition. All students in the B. F. A. Graphic Design program must complete an internship and participate in a B. F. A. seminar. Students must pass two portfolio reviews. Illustration students concentrate on figure drawing, painting, printmaking, advanced drawing, and digital illustration. All Illustration students must participate in a B. F. A. seminar.
Graphic Communications students must complete pre-major courses before they can apply to the major itself. Pre-major courses include survey of graphic communications, design for graphic communications, 3D modeling, computer graphics and multimedia. Students accepted to the major may emphasize 3D Graphics, Digital Design and Production or Interactive Multimedia. All Graphic Communications students must take one project management course and complete a final project.
Art scholarships are available, as are need-based and academic merit scholarships.
