Scope of Program:
Graphic Design students at Minot State University begin their studies with foundation coursework in 2D and 3D design, computer graphics, color theory, drawing, digital tools and visual arts. They continue with coursework in photography, interactive web design, illustration, printing and painting or water media. All students in the B. F. A. program complete an internship and create a thesis.
Students in the Multimedia Studies program focus on computer graphics, 2D design, graphic design, color, digital tools, visual arts, interactive web motion, marketing, audio production, video production, public relations, communication design, advertising and sales promotion. All students complete an internship and capstone project.
All students pay in-state tuition rates, with the exception of international students. First-year students must live on campus. Art, need-based and merit scholarships are available. Eligible North Dakota residents are encouraged to apply for state and tribal grants.
