Scope of Program:
Graphic Design students at Southwestern Oklahoma State University must complete the Foundations program, which includes coursework in drawing, painting and 2D and 3D design, computer applications and graphic design. They then focus on typography, web design, design processes, logos and publication design, art history, studio arts, advanced design and professional practices. All students create a portfolio and senior exhibit.
Merit, art and need-based scholarships are available. Residents of Oklahoma are encouraged to apply for state grants and scholarships. Oklahoma residents may choose to lock in their tuition through the Tuition Lock program.
