1. Tecnológico de Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Monterrey, Mexico
Tecnológico de Monterrey

The School of Architecture, Art, and Design at Tecnológico de Monterrey (Tec de Monterrey) provides programs led by artists with experience at places such as DreamWorks, Pixar, Nickelodeon, and Disney. The school also houses a Digital Art BA that explores animation, games, visual effects, and immersive art. Other program highlights include opportunities to work on projects with Amber Studio, Museo Urbano Interactivo, and Discovery Networks; access to ultramodern production facilities; workshops with studios such as Ánima, Fotosíntesis Media, Viva Calavera, and Cinema Fantasma; and professional internships. 

The program culminates with a final project and showcase. Graduates have worked on productions such as Star Wars, Avatar, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse; and Dune. Program alumni can also be found at places such as Sony Pictures Imageworks, Disney, Cinesite, Netflix, MPC, Nintendo, and Rodeo FX. 

2. Escena Escuela de Animación y Digital Arte, Mexico City, Mexico
Escena Escuela de Animación y Digital Arte

Escena Escuela de Animación y Digital Arte (Escena) is an Unreal Engine Academic Partner and Toon Boom Center of Excellence. The school has a Digital Animation program that highlights Escena's "Project-Based Learning System." Leading to a bachelor's degree, the program provides access to a state-of-the-art, professional production space known as Escena Animation Studio (ESA) where students can collaborate on short films with studio professors. Other program highlights include the opportunity to join the studio as a production assistant; courses led by industry professionals; internships at local studios; and the option to complete the final year at Vancouver Film School (VFS). 

The program culminates with a demo reel and showcase. Graduates have been hired at places such as Anima Studios; Sony Pictures Imageworks; Ogilvy; Skydance Animation; and Bardel Entertainment. 

3. Universidad del Valle de México, Mexico City, Mexico
Universidad del Valle de México

Universidad del Valle de México (UVM) provides more than 180 programs and 300+ international programs across 26 campuses. Among the school's programs is a bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Design that highlights coursework in 2D and 3D Animation; digital design; motion graphics; digital art; interactive design, and graphic design. Other program highlights include access to state-of-the-art production facilities; professional internships at local and international companies; the opportunity to study abroad for a full semester; and the option to study at UVM campuses in Mexico City, Yucatan, Neuvo Leon, and Baja California, to name a few. 

The program culminates with an audiovisual and multimedia project. Graduates have secured roles at places such as Anima Studios, Rockstar Games, Cinesite, Electronic Arts (EA), Gameloft Mexico, Framestore, Huevocartoon, and LATV Networks.

Universidad Tecnológica de México

The Digital Design and Animation bachelor's degree program at Universidad Tecnológica de México (UNITEC) houses a career-focused Design, Animation and Digital Art program that provides an academic scholarship of up to 40%. Other program highlights include access to state-of-the-art studios and labs; seminars and workshops; professional internships; and the option to complete the program online or in-person at one of 11 campuses. The program culminates with a final project and portfolio. Graduates have landed positions at places such as Disney Latin America, Gameloft Mexico, Anima Studios, Huevocartoon, Mighty Animation, TV Azteca, and Mako Animation Studio. 

5. Universidad Panamericana, Mexico City and Guadalajara, Mexico
Universidad Panamericana

The School of Engineering at Universidad Panamericana (UP) is the only academic unit of its kind in Mexico to combine digital art and computer science. Within the school are two paths to study animation including bachelor's degrees in Digital Animation Engineering, and Animation and Videogaming. Across programs, courses are taught by professional animators from Riot Games and major productions such as Avatar, The Mandalorian, and Aladdin. Other program highlights include access to ultramodern production facilities; workshops and seminars; and internship opportunities. 

Programs culminate with a final project, such as an animated film or original game. Graduates have been hired at places such as Disney, MPC, Lucasfilm, Blizzard Entertainment, Netflix, Sony, Anima, Warner Bros., Exodo Animation Studios, TrackVFX, HyperBeard, Mainframe Studios, and Ollin VFX.
