The College of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences (HASS) at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) houses the School of Art, Design and Media (ADM). Established in 2005, the school has a Media Art BFA program with pathways in Animation, Film, Games, and Photography. Students may add a minor such as Film or Art History. The OCAD U School of Continuing Studies provides an Animation Skills certificate program. Professionals in the animation and games industries lead all programs. Media Design School at Strayer (MDS) is a Houdini Certified School and New Zealand’s only Unity Authorized Training and Certification partner. The school also houses the country’s first 3D Animation program. Leading to a Bachelor of Art and Design (3D Animation and VFX), the program allows students to specialize in 3D Animation, Compositing, or Modelling and Technical Studies. All coursework and creative activities take place in a collaborative studio-like environment.
