Top Animation Programs in Utah

Utah is home to some of the best Title IV colleges in the nation. Just a few include Brigham Young University, University of Utah, Utah Valley State College, Utah State University, and Weber State University. These Title IV schools are at the top of the list based on factors such as the variety of high quality programs, comfortable class sizes, the number and quality of clubs/organizations, state of the art production facilities, competitiveness, cost, and more.

Utah’s finest institutions offer a wide variety of art and design programs. Just a few include graphic design, game design & development, and animation. Top Animation School Programs Utah – Other Options

Although these schools are not at the top of the list of schools for animators, they are still worth looking into—especially Utah State University, which is considered one of the top universities in nation.

Salt Lake Community College (SLCC) sits on a 103-acre campus in Salt Lake City. It has a student body of 33,000+. SLCC offers an Associate in Applied Science in Visual Art & Design with an Animation Emphasis (A.A.S), an Associate in Science in Visual Art & Design with an Animation Emphasis (A.S.), and an Associate in Applied Science in Visual Art & Design with a Multimedia Emphasis (A.A.S).

Utah State University (USU) sits on a 400-acre campus in Logan with easy access to all major cities. This is one of the largest universities in the region, with more than 23,000 students enrolled. USU offers a Multimedia Development Minor that features a variety of animation courses. This school did not make the list of top animation schools because it does not offer a bachelor’s degree or higher in animation.  Utah State University
