Although these schools are not at the top of the list of schools for animators, they are still worth looking into—especially Utah State University, which is considered one of the top universities in nation.
Salt Lake Community College (SLCC) sits on a 103-acre campus in Salt Lake City. It has a student body of 33,000+. SLCC offers an Associate in Applied Science in Visual Art & Design with an Animation Emphasis (A.A.S), an Associate in Science in Visual Art & Design with an Animation Emphasis (A.S.), and an Associate in Applied Science in Visual Art & Design with a Multimedia Emphasis (A.A.S).
Utah State University (USU) sits on a 400-acre campus in Logan with easy access to all major cities. This is one of the largest universities in the region, with more than 23,000 students enrolled. USU offers a Multimedia Development Minor that features a variety of animation courses.
