The College of Business and Industry at University of Arkansas Fort Smith (UAFS) offers a BS in Animation Technology (BSAT). This advanced program is designed for students who have completed an AAS or AAT degree. Students who have completed at least 45 credit hours toward the degree may also apply.

Accredited by the Association of Technology, Management, and Applied Engineering (ATMAE), the BSAT at UAFS consists of 120 credit hours of study. Upper level courses allow students to delve into animation through courses such as Motion for Applied Animation, Lighting and Rendering, Computer Color Applications, Digital Production Techniques, and 3D Advanced Concepts. Other BSAT Program benefits include hands-on learning, small class sizes, and internship opportunities with local and national companies. 

The UAFS Animation Technology BS Program ends with the Senior Capstone Project. Graduates are prepared to pursue a variety of roles in animation, visual effects, games, and other media. University of Arkansas Fort Smith alumni work in industries such as Film and Video, Video Game Design, Computer System Design, and Advertising and Marketing, among others.

University of Arkansas Fort Smith (UAFS) was established in 1928. The school serves around 7,000 students enrolled in more than 100 career-based degree and certificate programs across three colleges: Arts and Sciences, Business and Industry, and Health, Education, and Human Sciences.
