1. Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design, Budapest, Hungary
Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design (MOME) is home to an Animation Program with BA and MA options. These project-based programs highlight workshops led by artists across the entertainment industry; access to state-of-the-art labs and studios; partnerships with domestic and international companies; professional internships; and opportunities to present final projects and others at Budapest Design Week. Graduates have been hired at (or worked on projects for) places such as DreamWorks, Pixar, Electronic Arts (EA), Sony Pictures Imageworks, Disney, Framestore, MPC, and DIGIC Pictures.
2. Budapest Metropolitan University, Budapest, Hungary
Budapest Metropolitan University (METU) provides two paths to study animation including the Animation BA and MA. BA students can specialize in 3D Animation or Creative Animation (2D, puppet, drawing). The MA program explores advanced animation design and concept development, production processes, team building, and project management. All students benefit from flexible access to state-of-the-art production facilities; collaborative projects; partnerships with 700+ companies; and creative internships. Programs culminate with a final project. Graduates can be found at places such as MPC, ZeniMax Online Studios (ZOS), XREAL Games, DIGIC Pictures, Umatik Entertainment, and ZOA Studio.
