Indiana is home to some of the nations top universities. One Indiana school, Notre Dame, is always on the list of the nations top schools. Like other top schools in the state, it offers a world-class graphic design program that accepts only the best. Other top schools, such as Purdue and Indiana University, also make regular appearances on multiple “top schools” lists as well as most “best schools” lists. Indiana’s top schools made the cut based on a variety of factors such as cost, convenience, number and types of clubs, quality of facilities, and variety of social clubs and organizations.
Indiana’s “best schools” often make the cut based on other factors such as graduation and retention rates, number of program offerings, peer assessment, faculty resources (student-teacher ratio), financial resources, and student selectivity. Many of the state’s top schools can be found in Indiana’s largest city—Indianapolis. However, students can find a number of the state’s top schools on sprawling campuses in small cities such as Saint Mary of the Woods, New Albany, and Terre Haute.
