
Kentucky is home to several colleges and universities with top-tier graphic design programs. While Louisville and Lexington are the state’s largest and most progressive cities, smaller cities such as Bowling Green and Murray are also growing in popularity among area creatives. Kentucky’s top schools for graphic designers made the list for several reasons. These schools are affordable, convenient, and the production facilities are state-of-the art. The state’s top schools also have excellent job placement services, a variety of clubs and organizations, and easy access to cultural opportunities and recreation.
Most “top schools” lists are published each year. Students, student groups, alumni, bloggers, and other small groups usually publish them. While unofficial, meaning, “top” lists are not published by organizations such as Princeton Review, Forbes, or U.S. News & World Report, these lists are still important tools for students during their initial school search. The reason for this is, most “top schools” lists address many of the issues that concern college-bound students on a budget.
