Maine Media College is a rural college located on a 20-acre campus. It has a student population of around 100. Aspiring graphic designers can earn an M. F. A. in Multimedia or a Professional Certificate in Multimedia. As part of its multimedia program, students are required to complete a number of graphic design courses.
Maine is also home to a number of community colleges that offer classes, certificate programs, or 2-year programs for artists and designers. In fact, Maine's community college system, which is made up of seven community colleges, offers nearly 300 one- and two-year program options. These schools offer graphic design, computer graphics, and digital graphic design programs.
