Options include a Studio Art BA, BFA, and MFA, and an Art minor (Graphic Design and Digital Imaging). BFA and MFA students can concentrate in Graphic Design. Across programs, students benefit from collaborative projects; access to state-of-the-art production facilities; the guest artist series; and professional internship opportunities at places such as PBS Hawaiʻi, Wall-to-Wall Studios, and the Honolulu Museum of Art (HoMA). Many students receive employment offers at the end of these internships. The Faculty of Arts and Letters at Brigham Young University—Hawaii (BYU—Hawaii) has a Visual Arts program with BA, BFA, and minor options. The BFA has a concentration in Graphic Design, while the BA and minor allow students to focus in graphic design through electives and required projects. Across programs, students have access to state-of-the-art labs and studios. Degree-seeking students have the opportunity to intern with the BYU—Hawaii Marketing and Communications Office and participate in immersive faculty-led design trips around the world. Graduates have been hired at places such as the Polynesian Cultural Center (PCC), Booz Allen Hamilton, Prince Resorts Hawaii, and BAE Systems.
