Nayzak Animation School, Nasr City, Cairo, Egypt
Nayzak Animation School (Nayzak School) provides a number of specializations for animators. Options include 2D Animating, Art of Storytelling, 3D Animating, Concept Art, and 3D Environment Creation. Each specialization consists of four to six areas led by experienced professional artists, animators, and filmmakers. Areas may include up to as many as 30 classes or as few as seven hours.
Area examples for the 2D Animating specialization include Digital Painting; 2D Animation Fundamentals; and 2D Animation Production. Art of Storytelling includes areas such as Storyboard and Animatics; Scriptwriting for Animation; and Advanced Drawing. The 3D Animating specialization includes areas such as 3D Rigging; Advanced 3D Animating; and Acting for 3D Animating.
The Concept Art specialization consists of areas such as 2D Character Design; Environment Concept Art; and Animation Pre-Production. 3D Environment Creation areas include 3D Environment for Animation Film; 3D Modeling and Texturing; 3D Props for games; and 3D Environment with Unreal Engine.
Upon completion of all specializations at Nayzak Animation School, students will have multiple projects to include in their professional portfolios. Graduates are prepared to pursue careers in animation for films, games, television, and advertising. Program alumni also go on to become art educators or launch their own freelance businesses.
Nayzak Animation School opened its doors in 2013. Located in El-Maarefa Centre, the school began as Nayzak Animation Studio with a focus on providing animations for the advertising industry. Today, Nayzak Animation School provides specializations in 3D Animating; 3D Character Creation; 3D Environment Creation; 2D Animating; Concept Art; Art of Storytelling; Motion Graphics; and Graphic Design. Programs lead to a certificate.
