Scope of Program:
Electronic Media majors at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill begin their studies with foundation coursework in 2D and 3D design, drawing and photography. They continue with courses in electronic media, art history, time and art, digitizing the body, digital photography, video art, interactive media and either life drawing or sculpture. All students participate in a professional seminar and create a senior exhibition.
All first year students must purchase an Intel-based laptop computer. Art, need-based and merit scholarships are available. North Carolina residents are encouraged to apply for state-funded grants and scholarships.
