Today’s animators leverage all of the tools in the toolbox, employing them in a variety of ways across many mediums and applications. Though technology continues to usher in increasingly more sophisticated CG software, demand for 2D animation is at an all-time high.
Over the course of 5 decades, Nossi College of Art has transformed from a very small graphic design school founded by esteemed artist and painter Nossi Vatandoost into a thriving arts community of several hundred art and design students. Situated just outside of Nashville- a thriving mecca for the arts- Nossi students have access to a plethora of creative learning outlets and opportunities.
In the highly competitive world of animation, skill sets and experience may rule the roost but a bachelor’s degree has quickly become a job requirement for those seeking work in the field. A degree in animation prepares the emerging artist with skills in all relevant components of the craft. Taking it a step further, a bachelor’s of fine arts (BFA) in animation hones in on the nitty gritty of art and design with deeper practicum and theory. Seldom do we find BFAs in animation that are offered on-campus and online, but today we’re in for a treat.

There aren’t many undergraduate animation programs within comfortably-sized, Christian liberal arts universities but Huntington University fits just that bill.
